When an accident takes place while testing a time machine, the crew's history expert, Mundy, is suddenly fused into Earth's past . . . in the time of Joan of Arc. With a war raging between France and England, a conflict between languages, France's savior struggling with the knowledge of her burden and Mundy trying to find her way back to her own time, there seems to be no hope for our characters. Will Mundy find her way back to the 21st century . . . or will something happen to alter the past before she can?
